Since I saw betting being legalized in the States (around the same period VAR came out) I honestly started having this thought and I keep thinking of it whenever I see these situations.

In the NFL, and NBA there are millions of decisions that leave you scratching you head as to what the refs saw ... The talking heads on TV keep telling us the refs know better, and trying to squeeze any ounce of logic to convince us ...

Sports (including football) as we grew up knowing changes and it keeps changing to the worse.
