We could use a bit of height in defence if Dier makes way.

Only worry watching his videos is that a lot of the highlights are him running back to make last-ditch sliding tackles. Sure, it's fun to watch but the best defenders probably shouldn't find themselves having to do that very often.

That said, no reds and six yellows in total last season isn't too bad. He's not reckless.
 
The same people complaining about money seem to be the same people who always complain about our business. Who gives a F about the money. Then it becomes this endless cycle of unfair pressure/expectations on a player because of the cost. It’s about getting the right player. Hopefully he is it. Young physically gifted left footed player with big league experience was never going to be cheap. Thankfully we have a coach likes working and developing young players and won’t cast him out at the first mistake.

While I do believe Tapsoba is the superior player, this guy is a great talent in his own right, and the fact that Leipzig were looking to replace Gvardiol with him speaks volumes.
