You can only register during the registration window which is the duration of the transfer window.

Under special circumstances, the FA might allow you too register but otherwise impossible.

That's really nuts. So if you are unemployed, you cannot get a job !!

And the other issue is that there is a maximum of 25 players aged over 21 who can be registered.

We have registered 25 players so no space to register others.

If we had 2 injured GK's in our squad of 25 we might be able to sign a GK - but I'm not sure on that.
