He’s still 16, that’s quite young for a loan out.looks good enough from an ability perspective but just done his GCSE’s so tough ask to throw him into a lower changing room just yet

He's 19 mate. Defo needs to be given a chance in pre season so the big man can see what he can do and then maybe a championship loan. Personally from what I've seen off him I think he's ready to sit on the bench for us and provide depth. Looks better then most of our forwards on the ball

Ahh ok, got that well wrong then. Yes, loan or first team. To be honest, I think we’ve really lacked a couple of young academy players this season, just for the effort and lift it gives the crowd.

Blood him through with Europa League football in the group stages.

Then by January, we'll know if he's ready for more minutes or a Championship loan to see the season out.

Too good for U21 football.

Think it’s super important that we align the plan with Ange, Jamie and agent.

ie. Only keep him here is we truly will blood him, not 5mins a couple of times. If he is told he will get several starts (training performance warranted) and is happy, all good. If he strongly wants 10-15games of at least 45mins (type assurance) then find him a loan.

Gut says he needs a loan to adjust to the pace of play, also that Moores camp will be watching on how Donley is handled, so doubly important to get it right (100% don’t keep him in limbo, just a squad filler).

Really dissapointing he hasnt had more chances this season, particulaly with Maddisons injury and loss of form. What more can he do? Looks an outstanding prospect.

Well, honest answer is "we'll never know".

Ange just randomly throws in Gil in random moments, even though he has no future for us.

Fucking absurd to have such U21 side and then wasting minutes on deadbeat like Gil instead of Donley for example.

Maybe next season IS the season we see a few more from the u-21s make it through to the first team...

There's a FIRST TEAM for everything!!
