I would say the best improvement from last season is his confidence.
With that he is willing to go direct at the defenders, his vision has widened, passwork, ball touches
and off the ball movements have significantly improved.
He also played well in the striker position yesterday keeping hold of the ball during long ball counters
and pressing high up the pitch which is probably what Poch asked for.
Anyways he is now playing worthy of his transfer fee.
Good lad.

Confidence has definitely played a part. I also think he seems to have adjusted to the pace of play. Can remember so many times last season he would take an extra touch, or wait a split second too long. He has sorted it out and he is on fire!

Sometimes our players can take one too many touches in the opposition box and waste attacking moves - so it's great to see Son with that in his locker.
