They must be hoping Leicester come up with a huge points deduction and maybe Ipswich ( who won’t be allowed spend)…. So there might only be one place for relegation …. They are the club that won’t die….. I really want them to go down for hans segers taking a bribe to keep them up in 94 and for amokachi ruining klinsmanns dream in 95
First time Tottenham made me cry. Thanks for bringing back that memory 🤣

Insane that EFC are being schooled by Brighton here.

When the PL was being planned there was a "top 5" and EFC were in it.

Around about that time Brighton were in div 4. They sold the Goldstone to property developers, had to play at Gillingham, oh and they avoided dropping out of the league on the last day of the season on GD.

EFC will only be saved because they still have a massive support in a big 2-club City.

At what point are Everton deducted more points than they earn on the pitch.

They cry but they tried to cheat and were worse are cheating then they are on the pitch, and that took some doing.

They should be. They’ve got off lightly. A second offence should have a greater punishment.

In its written reasons the independent commission said the Premier League had asked for a five-point deduction for the club.

The commission decided that any breach of PSR justifies a three-point deduction, with an additional two points because Everton's breach of £16.6m - 15.8% above the £105m threshold - is deemed significant.

However, the commission accepted Everton's arguments for mitigation in relation to the fact the club has:

  • Already been deducted points this season
  • Suffered a loss of revenue because of the suspension of a sponsorship deal with Russian company USM
  • Made an early admission of guilt
The commission concluded that the fact Everton have already been punished this season merits a two-point reduction in punishment, with a further point for the loss of sponsorship revenue and early admission of guilt.

So 5 points for the offences reduced to 2 points, as this 'commission' bent over backwards to find ways to reduce the punishment : and still Everton complaining !
