For as much ire as it drew, the Glazer takeover of United actually was very successful. That club is in a tailspin now for entirely different reasons.
Yeah, it finally came through. I posted an edit.Palace have lost £60m, to be expected but their wage to revenue is a staggering 93%!!!
Ian Abrahams, aka that squeaky cunt "Moose", knows Jack Shit about football. He is a top cunt, but quite amusing with it.

Love his thoughts on Sullivan & Gold. He doesn’t like them too much.
American owners haven't exactly hit it off in English football, Hicks and Gillett at Liverpool and Randy Lerner at Villa are prime examples of where things have gone tits up...Is that justified?
Man utd debt as of may was £395.4m
Yeah but fuck them lolThe Scum fans always bitch about their American owners taking more money out of the club than putting in.
They're not in a precarious position. That's the point I've been making all along. They're just not.Sure, the debt hasn't held them back - but it sure has left the club in a far more precarious position than it should be in, given the revenue. The owners get all of the benefits with none of the risk. The club is an asset they can afford to lose, and the club and the fans would be the ones to suffer.
Just seems unethical to me. And doesn't make business sense for the club, only for the owners.

Wow, so zero income from sales except whatever they get for Zaha. They are really fucked.Well that won't be difficult seeing as around 97.3% of their squad is out of contract in the summer.
I think their chairman got stuck in a glitch of just perpetually giving a new contract to Zaha and never anyone else.
I no longer know what is or isn't FFP compliant. I don't think the clubs do either. How can that be? Even city were pulled up by ffp. Even though it was a shambles it still happened

They didn't take anything out - only used it as leverage to secure loans and paid it off fairly quickly.Imagine how good they'd be if the Glazer's hadn't taken hundreds of millions out of the club.
For as much money as that club makes, neither of those problems have truly been at fault for Man U's problems either. Ferguson retired and took his magic with him; subsequent managers have been fully backed in the transfer market, but simply haven't been able to measure up to expectations.
400m debt for them is piss easy and low.
