I've contacts in the Scottish game who tell me John McGinn of Hibs is in advanced talks with Spurs. Was wondering if anyone had heard anything on the London grapevine?

Zidane of the North coming to your club bores you? This is getting boring.
I knew Alan Hutton's real Dad. No relation to John McGinn. Is he as good as Alan Hutton?
He's a midfielder. The most exciting one north of the borderWe have a history of quality Scottish strikers, Gilzean, Archibald, Durie.....
McGinn?
Much chat around the Lane about him?We have a history of quality Scottish strikers, Gilzean, Archibald, Durie.....
McGinn?
Lol. Hutton is gash.I knew Alan Hutton's real Dad. No relation to John McGinn.
Hutton was/is a top class player. He just needs the correct management - someone to put an arm around him. I wouldn't complain if Hutton returned to the Lane.
But anyway, McGinn. Different player to Hutton. McGinn is young so could develop into a more attacking or more defensive midfielder because currently he is a box to box, hard tackling playmaker. Excellent first touch and vision. I hope we seal the deal for him this summer.
I like how we buy youngsters and bring them on so effectively under Pochettino.

Are you really Robbie Keane?I thought Scott Allan was? Now he sits on the bench for a poor Celtic team every week.
Just because Scott Allan sits on the bench doesn't mean John McGinn is a bad player. I fail to see your logicI thought Scott Allan was? Now he sits on the bench for a poor Celtic team every week.
In northern Israel? Are you his Father\agent\lover? (I know the borders are blurred between those roles up north)

Yep and northern Sweden as welllIn northern Israel?
Are you really Robbie Keane?
Arteta? Di Canio?Really? Plenty of similarities. Both being hyped, as you say, 'the most exciting midfielder north of the border' whilst playing Scottish Championship football. Now Scott Allan can't get into a failing Celtic side, as I imagine would be the same with McGinn. Name the last player from the Scottish leagues that has come to the premier league and excelled?
Arteta? Di Canio?
Kenny Miller?
Steven Naismith?
James McCarthy?
Jelavic?
But all that is irrelevant - like your earlier post - because McGinn deserves to be understood in his own terms. You're the type of 'supporter' who probably thought Alli and Bale were overpriced wastes of money when they were signed. Don't let an anti-Scottish snobbery cloud your enjoyment of the beautiful game... and Super John McGinn
