Yes and no. No one on the planet plays well every game, but it would be wrong to claim Kane has had a great season. He has been in very good form of late and I believe he continues on this path, but he hasn’t shown up for half the season.

Nobody is doing this though, are they?

He was obviously having a poor season, probably impacted by the failed transfer move and then his own poor decisions coupled with the weird Nuno appointment. But he's been consistently excellent for months now, with only a couple of 'meh' performances in there.

That poor half season (which again .. there's context as to why it was poor) was probably the only time in his career he was unreliable for a large period of time. For the entire rest of his career he's an incredibly dependable player.

Yeah, clearly his mentality and attitude was all wrong earlier in the season. It was always going to take some time for him to switch himself back on. He also wasn't helped by some dog shit team performances.

By far our most consistent player. I'd like a bit more from him in big games, but his overall performance rarely dips to what you could call average.

Until this season I rarely turned on a Spurs game wondering if Kane will turn up. Even his lazy games are full of quality.

If you give Harry time on the ball to pick his head up he will destroy you. Unfortunately for us, the likes of Liverpool and the better sides around are usually wise to that.

Yeah, I said in another post that to get the best of Kane you need to chain a couple magic moments together, but often Kane creates a bit of magic which is followed up by some bullshit from the rest of the team.

I was so gutted when he did that fuck-me baboon arse flash to city in the golf interview. Really disappointed. Then didn't show up for work because he was probably confident he was moving on. After that I swore I wouldn't sing his name again.

Harry is at his best when he focused on passing and distribution. Excellent excellent passing today. This is the Harry I was screaming for over the last year, not the out and out #9. The Kane and Son duo link up is back and hope it continues.
