I'm not talking specifically about the actual damage, this is completely unknown, even though two dedicated Spurs Jornos are reporting it as a "serious" injury.

The issue is when he can come back onto the field of play, the fact it's an elbow means he can't wear any protection in the form of a cast (have you ever seen a player play with a bent arm or a straight arm for that matter play football?) so it has to be completely healed and it's this which will determine him being out for a longer than usual comparing it to other breaks where the player can wear protection, in these cases the break isn't 100% healed hence the cast.

Not sure you grasp how the skeleton works in the arm ... the 'elbow' isn't a bone there are three bones that meet at the elbow joint it's likely one or more have broken. You pin the broken bone internally (ORIF) and the joint still works if there is enough room, it just depends how far from the end of the bone the break is. If the break is right in the joint itself you're pretty fecked, but most beaks occur where the bone thins an inch or two away from the joint. If that's the case the joint will still function once any swelling has gone down.

Watched some replays and he was clearly still moving the elbow on Sunday, whilst adrenaline and swelling would have been a factor a broken bone grinding in the joint (like Hugo had) is complete agony however 'hard' you may be ... so fingers crossed Son's is less serious ....

Funny thing is half the 'doom and gloom' whiners who have all resurfaced now Son is injured, are the same cunts who were calling for him to be dropped for playing poorly ... needs to be dropped now we're fucked because he's injured ... make your minds up what you're whining about.

We'll survive without Kane, Sissoko and Son we still have Dele, Lamela, Lucas, Bergwijn, Sessegnon, LoCelso all capable goalscorers .... time to show we're not a 1, 2, or 3 man team COYS

So our attacking/ WF options are now Lucas, Bergwijn, Dele, Sessegnon, Lamela and Lo Celso. Yeah this is a massive blow but we have the depth required to score goals as long as we learn how to keep it tight at the back.

Personally I'd go with Bergwijn, Lucas, Lo Celso in those attacking areas with Dele floating in and around like he does. Utilise Lamela and Sessegnon when required and play Winks in midfield alongside Gedson/ Ndombele rotating.

Sometimes injures allow for a player to really shine, let's see who has it in them to take their game up levels we haven't seen in a Spurs shirt yet.
