Man the world is a fucked up place
Most likely he was given an injection to soften the pain, but yes.
He will be back mid march latest with a cast.Messi missed just 19 days with an arm fracture.
He's not the only one saying it's far more serious. What makes him a "dweeb"? He's actually at Hotspur Way right now.The original report from us implies surgery has already been done and the weeks prognosis is based on that.
This dweeb is saying months rather than weeks but says its not going to be clear until surgery is done.
Also - thank you Levy for not buying a striker
It's necessarily "serious" in the sense of the extent of the damage but the amount of time he could possibly miss regarding how long his recovery takes. That might indicate it's not as serious as some are now speculating. No way could he have played the whole game with a major fracture of the arm or elbow
So it's impossible that he could be out for that long? Or is saying "up to 8 weeks" actually quite possible?Actually they are, every brake is different so it’s impossible to know. You can’t just base it off a past brake and it’s not like they have access to his X-rays is it?
The official site says “several weeks” so it implies that even the club doesn’t have a clue yet.
Journo’s always exaggerate/make shit up as they go along.
When did he get injured?

Not altogether true, it's one of the easier joints to pin, if you feel your elbow you will see there's not much to get in the way of surgery ... it just depends where the break is as the elbow has three bones. An inch either way can make weeks of difference to healing. Guessing he's having ORIF surgery, you wouldn't normally do that unless it was a severe break but the fact he played on for 93 minutes must surely rule that out. He's not the only one saying it's far more serious. What makes this injury more difficult to get back onto the pitch than a break to fib or tib is you can't wear a cast as Dele or Son (Vardy) have done so previously. If it's your elbow it has to be completely mended before you can play.
Why do you think he's flying to Korea? is that in any press release? seems barmy but maybe he has a favourite surgeon? The club statement opens by saying he is to undergo surgery this week, he is flying to Korea for the operation.
