PEH is limiting I grant you, but when he’s come on he’s played far better than Biss who is currently costing us big time.
Really made a difference today, we were so much better without Bissouma. The way chunkychunkbadoinkbadoink chased back to prevent the counter goal was fab. And he stuck his near post header away beautifully, no way Bissouma scores that.

It was more a tongue in cheek piss take of the ridiculous criticism of Bissouma but I’ve never seen Bissouma plod back as half arsed as Pierre the Tank on that break away goal - just watch it for yourself.

Of course PEH is not personally responsible but on the breakaway him and Son were right there next to Saka when he started running and neither ran with him. They slowed down and let him go.
As a team we have to work so much harder to prevent the opponent scoring. All the team should work hard defensively, not just the defenders.
Swap Biss & PEH and that goal still gets scored; despite the fact that we got 2 (3?) players back behind the ball before Saka took his shot.
Ultimately Davies got done by a more agile/nimble player.

Yes, we make mistakes under pressure. Unfortunately, none of our midfielders are absolute league defining monsters. But every team that plays against us has the joy of almost continuous transition as our attackers cough the ball up over and over again.

Davies allowing Saka to turn onto his left there was fucking schoolboy defending.
And not only does Hojbjerg not even try to keep up with Saka (who starts level) as we saw Bissouma do with Townsend (and many other occasions) for example, but he allows Odegard to run from about 5 years behind him to be totally free in the box if Saka wanted to chose him.
But the over arching point here is, scapegoating Bissouma for some of the breakaway goals recently was bollocks. Hojbjerg trundles back slower.
