You sell the club around the last game. Then you make a huge, huge profit. You don't have to deal with the day to day that is required, you don't have to worry about the product on the field that is so flukey. Maybe Smoking Joe does not want to sell. He could be experiencing a form of Stockholm syndrome. It would be hard to not have any affinity for the club after so many years as its custodian. Maybe he just thinks that as long as hes not loosing loadsamoney, he will keep on keeping on.
