No.

We may be top 4 in term of balance and depth, but raw quality and room for improvement from within Chavski, Man U, Man City and Dippers squads are better.

Chavski may get better under a better manager. Some of Man U players not fulfilling their potential, but if they do, they can do much better. And manager too. Man U is doing well, but it's more to do with the chaos nature of this year and the quality of their nature. Like how Ranieri got that one season wonder with Leicester, but he's not here to get his team challenge and winning every year.

We know the full power of Man City and Liverpool. Even when they have not been at their best, they're still around challenging position. Few additions, and they're in a monstrous level.

All of 4 them can spend silly money, while we have to work around a budget.

Not the same can be said about us. Beside PEH, Kane, Son, LLoris, every other positions can be challenged/ upgraded if the new incoming is at those 4 level. Our current rotation option is adequate for Europa League level, but when we're back in CL, we need better quality, or we end up running our XI into ground.

Yes we have a top 4 squad.

City have the best imo. Followed by Chelsea then Liverpool then us. I put Chelsea before Liverpool but it’s very close. The fact Liverpool came into this season with 3 senior CBs and no depth at LB or RB is the reason I put Chelsea ahead of them.

5-8 I’d go Everton, Leicester, Man United then Woolwich.

The fact Southampton are this good is a major credit to their manager.

Oh sorry, misread the thread title.

Tottenham’s annual wage bill, as Maguire explains, is small compared to their so-called ‘Big Six’ rivals, with Woolwich (£232m), Chelsea (£286m), Liverpool (£310m), Manchester City (£316m) and Manchester United (£332m) ,Spurs’ is £179m, Everton’s £165m

Without Bale we have less than Everton LOL

Overall, City have the best squad. Liverpool probably the strongest 'first choice' XI.

We're probably on a par with Chelsea, and United are a mess of a squad with enough good players and fanboy VAR officials to win enough games to be up there.

Your data is from a season before Bale joined, so his wages not included

I’m still trying to figure out if Utd are over performing or under performing.

Still think they are the dark horses of this campaign.

But they do have a good spine of the team so not sure if dark horses is actually really the correct term.......
