I have a question for you now. Do you honestly believe, hand on heart, Levy's decision not provide Poch with a single player in Summer 2018, despite his pleading, backed up by another cop out in January this year, has absolutely no bearing on where we find ourselves today?

Of course it did. Never said otherwise. But, by all accounts, he was offered a number of players (including Tielemans) who he decided he didn't want. I don't necessarily think that the board weren't prepared to back him, rather they couldn't get the players he wanted (i'm guessing he was after out and out superstars).

My problem with Poch is not mutually exclusive to the fact he needed more support; he did. My problem is that I think he might be a stubborn, one-dimensional manager that can't develop youngsters and doesn't now how to set up a team to do anything other than press.

Where would the breaking point be for you?

If we're still nickle and diming things in two/three years' time, I'd want to see the back of them. You can't get over the fact ENIC have delivered on an extremely ambitious stadium.

I actually think you'll be surprised and we'll spend in January. We'll probably get Fernandes for around 50 million and try and nab a RB too.

We'll spend. That said, I still maintain that ENIC will be off within five years. They have the rawest jewel in world football/sport, and will cash out on it sooner rather than later.

I’m all in for Deontay Wilder. Bit of a left field choice granted.

Fact he could fight in the stadium on a Saturday night and then be in charge of the NLD Sunday 430pm must be interesting to Levy as well.

Mourinho and Rodgers are currently the favorites among the bookies to be our next manager, both sitting at 7/2. Allegri is at 11/2. Of course, this can just be a load of bull, but it's still interesting.

Yesterday you said if Poch hasn't been sacked before the next Premier League game you'd be calling on Levy to walk.
It'll be interesting to see if you stand by that when the time comes.
Very interesting.

Edit: Who did you vote for in the poll? Who are you expecting Levy to appoint if he grants your wish?

Are you one of the "Pulis Three"

You tried to stop me voting for Potter!!

If he did come though Levy would have to dramatically up his game. There can be no fucking around not hitting targets, failing to sell because you don’t get the price you want.

Otherwise Mourinho will quickly turn on the club and we all know how that ends. At that point it would also be clear that Levy is not the man to take us any further and should leave. It’s risky for Levy, in that Levy would also need to prove himself if he gets in Mourinho and if he comes up short it would tear his reputation apart.

There is risk for both Levy and Mourinho but the upside is if it works a man who can take the club the the final last level.
Couldn't take United to that level, same financial philosophy but much higher liquidity. Mourinho would be a failure of epic proportions at Spurs.

At least they see a problem
Every business should have a succession plan in place. Budget set aside, marketing and comms in place and at the very least, a list of names.

Every listed company is almost required to have that in place. If we don't then we are in even bigger trouble.

Also, I love listening to Mourinho's analysis on Sky. Almost makes me think that he has something to offer. Not for us though obvs.

Mourinho’s name is getting mentioned more and more the bookies are very seldom wrong! If it came down to it and we lose Pochettino which I hope we don’t but it doesn’t look promising! But if a straight choice Rodgers or Mourinho then reluctantly Rodgers! Based purely on the football his teams play is attacking free flowing then him the eye bleeding stuff Mourinho don’t think I could handle that for long even if it brought success.

Rodgers won't leave Leicester for us. At least not mid season.
