Current squad with Kane is probably a challenger for 6/7th at best but could end up 10th

Current squad without Kane is pure midtable

Current squad with 2 new CBs that work out well can challenge for Top 6

Current squad without Kane but Kolo Muani and new CBs that work out well can challenge for top 4.
But we have a manager who has shown he can do it in australia, japan, scotland and now singapore. Anything less than the title will be disappointing.

To feel proud of the way the team plays again, rather than embarrassed. Attacking football to be the norm and by the end of the season, a defence we don’t really talk about that much cause they’re solid enough. Plus wholehearted attempts to progress in the cups with at least one semifinal.

If we still have Ange by the beginning of next season, I’m going to assume things have gone pretty well.

The harsh reality is that we have absolutely blown a period when we had a proper decent chance of becoming one of the genuine big clubs.

Now we’re so far behind City, Dippers, Yanited, Chavs, Woolwich, Newcastle…

That period when Poch worked miracles as we navigated leaving WHL through Wembley and back to NWHL… somehow getting consistent top 4 positions and the CL dream run… that was our chance and our moment but we got tight and complacent.

We failed to invest properly and we will never get a chance like that for generations. We will never have the luxury of a Spurs-loving home grown talent like Kane for generations.

Levy and Co. have fucked up by monumental proportions.

Mid-table top 8 at best.

Anyone who thinks we can still compete for top 4 or trophies had clown shoes.

over exaggeration fucking hell! we are far behind city yes but who isnt? the rest are not that good. i dont get this weird cock sucking spurs fans do for other clubs its fucking strange. chelsea finished 11th or whatever! how the fuck are they beyond reach? liverpool looked crap, united dont look great, no one does bar city. fair enough the scum have made a few signings so well see but even still they wont be out of reach they dont have any genuine wow factor in their side. they are also a bunch of frail kids that have proven twice now they dont have what it takes to get over the line.

and its top 5 next year not 4.

This is a massive overreaction. Woolwich have had one good season and bottled it. With Europe added in, I wouldn't be surprised to see them slip.

Man United still have tons of holes. Newcastle rode their luck last year and will see a decline this season, as will Brighton.

We missed a great chance under Poch but that chance also happened because we kept our talent when big clubs tried buying. It was a risk not to cash in and we took it.

The only thing I agree with is not having a world class HG talent much longer. But is that a big deal? How many clubs actually have a world class player that was HG?

Love your enthusiasm but if you were e.g. a half decent European player looking to the PL - I honestly think we’re around the 7th option at best. All those other 6 start next season looking far more appealing than us. It’s only going to make things more toxic if fans are buying STs and the rest genuinely expecting us to compete for top places. We’re miles off and going backwards. Top 8 will be an achievement.

Uncle Joe will be talking about defence , guaranteed.

the league was dog shit last year, which is why the scum were in a title race. they all have massive work to do, we are a couple CB's away from being fucking decent outfit with or without kane...maybe even better without kane with new system.

it wasnt long ago bruno fernandes wanted to go spurs over united! spurs are attractive, especially when in the CL. footballs changed a lot since fergie era, they was a massive pull back then but have slipped off big time. london is a massive factor in attraction too.
