It’s so tough to watch a MF that can’t progress the ball into the final 3rd, even if we are holding it around midfield for a couple minutes. Seems like long balls or counters are our only chance to get forward. West Ham just holds their line high and we are scared to anything but blast a long ball and hope to get lucky.
It also doesn't help that our attackers don't move to put themselves in positions to get the ball. They are too stationary right now.

You could have Xavi and Iniesta in midfield and they would also have to pass sideways if the attackers just stood around waiting.

They don’t move because they know it’s not coming.

Another game of ours in which everyone collectively wonders what the fuck we're being coached to do in attack. What's our style, what's the plan Nuno? Whenever we score its a bit of individual quality. The whole team is so fucking passive it's a joke.
Agree...you see the likes of this West Ham team (begrudgingly), Brighton, Brentford and you see well coached sides with a clear sense of what they need to do.
We do have some good players but I'm not sure what they're looking to do. The passing is woeful and we struggle to string any patterns of play together.
We just look..a bit nervous in possession
