I don't get the fuss about the tunnel. It's just a graffiti covered shit heap. I can understand being intimidated in that situation if you're on your own in a stretch of the city you're unfamiliar with at night, etc. The players will be surrounded by teammates, staff, security, and police - all heading not towards the unknown but to a football pitch ringed by a fucking athletics track.

They play at Spam at least once a season...they're well prepared for this.

Could have been much worse. A bitch to travel to the last two and tough environments, but we should be favored to go through.
It always cracks me up when I see the European perspective that a 3 hour flight is “a bitch to travel to.”
