Daniel Levy is a man who loves a bargain, and no doubt will have his eyes peeled on players whose contract will expire either this year or the year after.

Feel free to suggest any additions to the table of transfer prospects (on the condition they aren't likely to sign an extension before the summer).

I don't think we will go for him but what's a transfer related thread without mentioning a winger?

Lucas Vasquez' contract with Real Madrid expires this summer and I have not seen any news about him signing a new one since Real wants him to take a pay cut.

Should not be on our list of priorities but worth having on the list.

Celtic have some interesting players with contracts expiring next year.

Odsonne Edouard (centre-forward, 23 years old)
Kristoffer Ajer (centre-back, 22 years old. right footed but plays on the left as well)
Ryan Christie (attacking midfielder, 26 years old, 5 goals and 14 assists so far this season in all competitions).

All quality players. I think we have been linked with Ajer previously as well. And with Celtic just having lost the league title and looking in need of a rebuild themselves it could be worth having a look. Also. They might not help our homegrown numbers. But we shouldn't have to worry about them (Christie obviously excluded) needing a work permit since they already are in the UK.

I wouldn't take Dybala, hugely overrated and injury-prone. Doesn't fit into a dynamic 4-3-3 team.

Does anyone else think Ronaldo might be looking for a club this Summer, I can't see any of the other big European clubs being interested.

Wonder if Levy would take a punt.

Ings is starting to worry me with the injury issues again. Not in this contract category but Lamptey is another I'd maybe steer clear of due to injury worries.

Ousmane Dembele is in great form, and his contract expires in 2022.

However, the new Barca president is elected today, and they will likely prioritise his contract renewal urgently. One to watch out for.

We dont need another medical student
