I wanted to give him a chance when he came here, but in the last 3 months, apart from his pace which has helped us, he hasn’t really done much to change perceptions about his finishing

As expected he was absolute ass and it was quite worrying to see Ange talk about him so positively but this injury really is proof that it's not all bad news at the moment.
Odds are he'll still be signed as it's a "good deal" and Gil, Perisic and probably Sessegnon and Soloman will leave gaps to fill this summer.
He's an adequate backup PL/ Europa League squad player I guess. But you just know he'll shank some sitters in critical matches, which will hurt his confidence and it's a vicious circle. I'd rather look elsewhere.
