Runaway leaders Tamworth spanked 3-0 at 4th placed Brackley.

Rock bottom and relegated Bishop's Stortford win 3-1 for only their 6th win of the season.

CLUB STATEMENT: LUKE GARRARD

After the season we are enduring and the recent run of six consecutive defeats, the Club Chairman and Manager Luke Garrard met for supper last night and the club wishes to make this statement.

It is with deep regret, and huge sadness, that Boreham Wood Football Club can announce we will part company with our long-serving Manager Luke Garrard after our last game of this season against Ebbsfleet United on Saturday, April 20th.

I don't think they have, not permanent anyway.

Sam Cox (first team coach) and a couple of the senior players (Dyer and Cook, I think) will see out the season.

Noble was a stupid appointment in the first place. He was taken on as a full time manager with one eye on the plan for the rest of the club to 'follow' in the summer - we're still the only PT team in the NL.

Busy 2 weeks ahead - Home games Tues (Southend), Thurs (Dorking), Sat (Chesterfield), Tues (Eastleigh) then last game away to Oldham.

Seems very weird. Playing good football, well ahead of the 5 year plan and increased the attendance by 700%.
No football club would be against all that, especially in non league. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Football is a ruthless business. Cruel even

But the decision I’ve seen tonight might be the harshest I’ve ever seen

Scott Harris led Walton & Hersham to 3 back to back promotions

First season at Step 3 they are just 5 points off the playoffs

@Harris__Scott21 deserved better

As per their own statement, they had a 5 year plan to get to Step 3. This is year 4 of that plan, so they’re ahead of schedule

Also as per their statement he increased gate numbers by 700% - so not a financial decision either

The club are owned by a consortium of 24 year olds

Whilst they have clearly done some brilliant work, they have perhaps shown a bit of naivety here 🤷‍♂️
