Ndombele completely agree, and PEH does a job but he is very limited. We have decent role players in our midfield who don't seem very adaptable. Dele was one but he doesn't seem to give a shit. Our back 4 can't absorb pressure, our midfield can't really hold possession other than in spurts. We're stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Average defender, good going forward is what I expect out of him.
Lately he's been atrocious at the back and wasteful in possession.

This is tactical to me, not the players. We don't have a system for progressing the ball forward. It's hard to have sustained possession when they aren't trained on it.

Even still, it is the coaching and how they are asked to play, as much as their personal deficiencies. The coaching looks non existent.

Kane is going to leave if something doesn't change drastically, this isn't good enough for our club and the message that is being sent by keeping Mourinho here is that it IS good enough for this club.

Hindsight we should have gone for a manager that had a similar style to Poch with a clear vision for the club.

First half we looked good playing almost a 4141 when defending and Hojbjerg had Bruno locked down, but when they pushed their fullbacks high and Pogba centrally we could do nothing about it
Ndombele was pretty invisible in the 2nd half, was tiring, and was taken off a little later.
I agree we look better with the lineup you have there, but it wouldn't have lasted more than 10 minutes or so and we'd need to replace Tanguy.
