Let's not get carried away here guys, Everton were barely playing and we still only managed the 1 goal. And a 5th place finish isn't something we should be that happy about, it's respectable given some of the shambles we've endured, but we are still far off our targets.

What a day. Personal preference would have been for Newcastle to get relegated (I'm sensing this is a common feeling), but everything else went perfectly.
On balance - a great transitional season for Poch, and I'm relieved that our form has picked back up in these final games.

Now onwards and upwards! (And less travelling around Europe for Europa League qualifiers)...
My word I'm glad we can cheer on Aston Villa next weekend without worrying about our EL spot.

Worldie cross .... and brilliant header!

This actually makes me worried about putting Dier in the centre (where you'd think he was most suited) when the squad is fully fit - he's been delivering fantastic crosses consistently, and we'll be missing that with Walker at RB.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "It was a really, really good day. The first half was fantastic, one of the best of the season. The effort was brilliant, I want to congratulate the players because it was a tough season and arriving fifth was very good for us. For a first season at Tottenham, it was difficult but I'm very happy."

Par season. 5th.

Not 6th, not 4th.
Thank fuck it's over. Let Poch get "his" players in & see if we can "aim" for 4th next year even though we have a smaller stadium, smaller revenue & a shit manager.
:troll:

Call me whatever the fuck you want and disagree all you want, but I'm not jumping for joy for yet another 5th place finish and another season in the EL which clearly is never a priority for our players/managers.
