Mate, you must properly want us to be average. From that Forest game Danilo and Gibbs-White were the stand out quality and you're talking about the guy who ran in to dead ends all game and hit shots a mile wide of the goal.. Elanga is better than him.

Danilo and Gibbs-White were good as well, and Odoi had a better game than Elanga. He had a shot that nearly went in, hit some decent crosses and had some good through balls as well.
As for Gallagher, he's a good footballer. He can score goals, pass and head the ball and is good out of possession. He can also play in different positions throughout midfield and has a great engine. That's the type of player we'd need for next season with way more games.
Hudson Odoi is more of what we already have. Wingers with pace and 1v1 ability who can’t kick. I don’t know why you don’t want more than this. These players can be found everywhere.
Gallagher is ok. He stands out as technically limited in the England setup. He’s a lot of effort but struggles against a press. On a free maybe, but a big contract and fee for him? No.
Again, if we’re looking to step up then signing Gallagher and Odoi is a solid way to not achieve that.
Ivan Toney, Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze and Nico Williams immediately put this team on a different level to what it's able to achieve at the moment.
