Only amusing thing about this whole thing is watching them be so thoroughly exposed for the millionth time.
But it won't be the last because they'll still fleece off the SC members who will still pay up, for some fucking reason.

If they still pay up after this they deserve everything they ever get.

Spending the money is where it gets difficult. The ST market hardly flushed with great options.
Orban may become a great player but none the less a risk from the league he's in.

Who else. Vlahovic? Doubt Juve sell this late as they'd then have our problem of getting a replacement.
This late? There are 3 weeks left in the transfer window. They were just trying to swap him for Lukaku but Chelsea didn't want him.

Paul Merson has backed Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur to secure a transfer deal for Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez with Harry Kane heading towards the other direction.

It's probably horseshit and just Merson's worthless opinion.

we NEVER had the power in any of this.

no team in world football would allow their star player to let their contract run down in the final year and obtain no fee when there was a chance of obtaining 100m (or any substantial figure).

It's all well and good levy missing deadlines blah blah blah but as soon as Kane showed willingness to join them it was game over.

Make no mistake about it, had they not have come in and another English club actually offered that money...he would have eventually been sold after Levys pathetic attempts of jedi mind tricking the media into believing we held the power.

right decision to sell imo but of course Levy has to make it a theatre and mess up Anges plans in the process.
I'd go further, the die was cast when H imposed the Brentford deadline ....although perceived as a two edged sword Levy knew then team Kane were playing hardball and prepared to stick it out and leave on a free.

In fairness this was always (still is) Harry's best option but if is his mind is made to move to the BL then so be it.

Not only would Pep never sanction that in a million years, Alvarez would (rightfully) cost a bomb, likely almost as much as Kane did.
