Well Reguilon doesn't look too physically developed up top. Hope the gym rat lovers in here give him more of a chance than they did KWP. Not every footballer has to be a 'roid freak to be impressive.

He has def declined, but we have dramatically changed the way we use him. That little run he had after Jose first got here showed what he offers, but he is a player that needs a manager to use him a certain way.

A lot of people compare him to Mueller, which I get a lot. Two oddly technical players that don't have the purest of strikes, the pace, or the dribbling ability, but have this ability to make things happen. Many thought Mueller was done and then Flick came in and changed everything for the man.
totally agreed CS. but like Mueller he needs to be in a team with a full complement of actual footballers with him as the only luxury player. Dele might do very well at RM but he was never going to get there again here. We need all 10 outfield players contributing in all phases because we won't have 10 WC players. Dele's not that guy to provide that.

edit: and just to clarify, Dele is not on Mueller's level nor is he as intelligent a footballer as Mueller. My point was more the fact that a) he has to be used a certain way and B) he will only work in a team that frees him up. RESPECT THE COCK RESPECT THE COCK

Unlike KWP, Reguilon is good.

KWP could have been built like Traore it wouldn't change the fact that he is clueless defensively, spends more time watching goals then defending them and isn't that great as a crosser or passer in general.

The fact that he look terrified and overwhelmed in every game didn't help him at all. He will fit in well at the bottom half of the table club like Southampton where the expectations are low and his lack of ability is celebrated.
