Yes but we are on the verge of spending a whole bunch of money on an AM and a "LB" (who is really probably more of a winger), while we are letting RB languish despite it being our position of highest need. Sorry if I'm a broken record about this, but it's maddening. You are right that we have to prioritize, but how are Lo Celso or Sessegnon a higher priority than a RB?

We are on the verge of trotting out some combination of Aurier, KWP, and Foyth at RB for 50+ games next year. This doesn't terrify anybody else?

Aurier probably won't be seen till September or even October because he's picked up yet another hamstring. The guy's becoming a proper sicknote.

KWP looks woefully short of the physical demands of PL football.

Foyth is our best hope but still unproven.

If we don't sign a RB we could be facing a season of makeshift right backs like Dier, Sissoko, Alderweireld or Sanchez. It could be our undoing.

Oh shut the FUCK up about the RBs. Like a bunch of whinging Oliver twists..."please Levy, can we have some more".

We have aurier and KWP with foyth also able to play there.

Fucking deal with it.
Well there's Dier, Sissoko and Alderweireld if he stays...that's six guys who can play RB if required....how much cover do we need?

If our midfield is dynamic and attacking enough (N’dombele/Winks/Eriksen). Then having someone like Foyth on the right side that isn’t rapid but is clearly a better defender is not a bad idea.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, not every team in Europe wins things by having rapid fullbacks with double figure assists like Liverpool.

I trust Poch on this one, I believe that he knows what he’s doing.

I am actually surprised about the lack of rumoured right backs, I thought there would be stuff flying everywhere considering we obviously need one now with Trippier going. I guess the Lo Celso and Sessegnon rumours are dominating, although the good news is that probably means there is an element of truth to them.

Very few, if any, decent RBs around.

No point in spending big money to get in a RB no better than what we have - Aurier, with KWP and Foyth (Argentina international RB), whilst players like Dier have played there in the past.

There mignt be a serial killer specialised in killing right backs on the loose? Maybe we should buy another couple of RBs just in case...

Poch is completely out of his depth and has never even posted on this forum, so clearly knows nothing of value to add.

I agree...I worry about them too.....

where does a mexican side get the cash flow to pay 8 mil?

anyway good for us and good for Vinnie. Now ship GKN to french 4x100 dash team and I'll be satisfied

Said it somewhere in another thread - Liga MX is the 4th most attended league in the world (PL, Bundesliga, La Liga are the top 3). Mexico is a huge country and it's football crazy. That league has a lot of cash, and they are starting to target European players in addition to the traditional South American talent base they normally tap.

He'll be playing in a brand new 53,500 seat stadium (finished just 2 years) ... it's a beauty.
