So between Sanchez's 24 hour long medical, Aurier's instagram like, leaked gooner shot photo and pending jail sentence/ visa issues, not to mention the potential friction his supposed homophobic reputation could have with certain fans as well as supposed new target, Keita Balde who is rumoured to be gay. Foyth's summer long stand off not to mention his farewell selfies and Sunday/ Tuesday flight, Diop being left out of the Celta Vigo squad pending his move, Barkleys torn hamstring and Gazzaniga's farewell haircut over a week ago we still haven't actually got someone through the door. Someone with a dark, dark sense of humour is trolling us hard!!!

We're going to end up with Esteban Cambiasso aren't we? :(

Sanchez won't be unveiled until Friday or so! Did you not see the how long it took Brighton to get their new South American striker a WP? Took about a week.

we're going to end up with players that we've not been linked to in the media because all the ITKs and reporters actually know fuck all. Sanchez will arrive.

I'm not going to link for obvious reasons, but some shitty daily rag is claiming Pulis is after both Wimmer AND Vinny for £30 million.

I see the rationale behind us allowing Wimmer to leave, but who's in the pipeline to replace Vinny? One guy has been plugging the possibility of us signing Dembele (Celtic) this window but, as far as I can see, he's the only source for this rumour.

Do we have another striker on our radar, or are we reverting back to Son as our back-up striker?
If we signed Balde I'd say him and Son would be adequate back-ups to Kane

Shows the state of our transfer window when we are all pining for Sanchez to be announced; a player not many of us have heard of and who has apparently lots of potential but won't make our first 11.
We have 4 recognized potential CBs (Verts, Toby, Dier and Wimmer) and at 40 million, his a rather expensive Wimmer (if he gets sold) replacement. We also have a rather talented young CB in CCV, so for mind, this seems a rather strange signing, unless Toby isn't going to re-sign.
Would still rather us sign a RB (Aurier potentially, but only because FIFA 17 tells me his good) and another ST. If we only get Aurier it wont be the end of the world though, we have the best young team in the world, it would be shame to break it up, even for a so called 'marquee'.

Imagine if we'd done this business earlier. Crazy leftfield thinking I know...

I agree. Most big clubs would have all of their transfers tied up by now. It's a huge shame that in a window where we really needed to demonstrate how far we had come the money being thrown about made it difficult for us to conduct reasonable and rational business with teams for our supposed targets. Feels like we've gone back to the Harry Redknapp days. After this window, two to three signings per summer window and settled early on so they genuinely have time to bed in and become part of the team. Doing our deals so late in the window undermines us and our reputation I can't help but feel.

Let's get our players in, draw a line under all of this madness, the end to the window cannot come soon enough for us

Sancho is the sort of transfer that should get every Spurs fan excited, as long as it isn't the only one we make.

Young, English, bundles of talent, highly rated and we have Pochettino as out manager.

Rejecting 30k a week at City at that age because he felt he didn't have a pathway to the first team is a brave move for him and he should be commended for it.
Holy shite! This is a pretty big deal if it happens. I know a lot can go wrong with hyped up youngsters, but between Sancho and Marcus Edwards, we would have two of the most talented hyped up English kids closest to becoming the next superstar.

The reason Mbappe is being talked about being worth 150 Million plus after half a season is because he was hyped up as much as Ronaldinho was when he was a young kid. And when finally Mbappe started showing signs of reaching the massive potential he's been hyped for, everybody wants a piece.

And the closest we have in England in terms of hype a la Mbappe is Sancho, so if he signs and gets to fulfill his potential, we have another incredible world class player in our hands.

Another reason why Harry Kane is looked down upon by so many pundits and fans of other clubs. He had no hype whatsoever from anybody outside hardcore Spurs. So they can't accept an outsider has come in and become world class. So they are expecting him to fail because they never saw Harry coming.

And nae havin work the morrow. Ok! I'll stop

Not wanting a cunt off and sooner swap hostelries that specialise in unhealthy deep frying but Scotland is a separate country with its own laws, the people are called Scots and some speak Gaelic

Apart from the cuisine it is very civilised and has a better conveyancing system than England where I now live
I.e I sold my house a few weeks ago, offered on a new one and paid up front for searches etc only for my buyer to pull out and now I'm out of pocket and pissed off!!
Wouldn't happen north of the border!

And I'll have a "Square Go" with anyone that says different!
