There was a bit in the Sun today saying we might possibly be thinking maybe of particularly considering a slightly plausibly over ambitious move for Klopp.

Before the article pointed out he'd recently signed a 4 year extention and Levy would need £20m compensation to get him to be release from the contract.

It was like reading a thread on here in one short article. "Maybe we could get him" "No, don't be stupid" "oh okay"

Why would he even be interested? I can see three reasons.

1. He loves money and we pay him extremely well.
2. He's a secret Spurs fan.
3. Levy has his family locked away.

Imagine what would happen on transfer deadline day

Heard he might be off to Barca in the summer - doubt we'd stand a chance

Tell me this is some sick joke, a late April fools, anything... please?!

Tottenham eye Danny Welbeck transfer as Daniel Levy hunts top-class striker
Romelu Lukaku is also on Spurs' shortlist but the Belgian insists that he wants to play Champions League football next season

Shout the door? Welbeck is on Tottenham's hitlist
Tottenham are weighing up a £20million summer move for Danny Welbeck.

The England striker has two years left on his current deal at Manchester United andSpurs sources believe the Old Trafford club could be willing to do business.

Spurs are determined to sign a top-level striker with Premier League experience –and Welbeck is top of their list.

The White Hart Lane club are working through potential summer signings, even though they do not have a manager in place for next season, with Tim Sherwood certain to lose the role and No.1 target Louis van Gaal keeping all options open.

Spurs are keen on Chelsea’s Everton loanee Romelu Lukaku – but the Belgian’s advisers are adamant that the player will only move to a club playing Champions League football next term.

Another Spurs target, Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke, is injured going into next season, ruling him out of a summer move.

While Welbeck, 23, has been a fairly regular starter for United this season, his opportunities of playing in his preferred central striker role have been limited.

United are planning a major summer recruitment drive and may see Welbeck as an expendable player who would command a significant transfer fee.

Welbeck, a certainty for England’s World Cup squad, is keen to stay at United, but could be tempted by the opportunity of being a first-choice centre-forward.

I don't think any transfers will be made until a new manager is named. Can you imagine LVG turning up first day to be told " here you go, we've just signed you Danny Welbeck!" I think he would turn around on the spot and fuck off.

All this talk about a new striker: Who's leaving? Kane could go on loan, but wouldn't be replaced by anything else than a third choice. (I don't want him to leave either). Soldado seems hard to sell and would mean a significant economic loss if someone would take him. Ade should only be sold if we can get a top top top player in, which I doubt we can.
I won't be surprised if all 3 stay and nobody comes in. Rather tricky transfer situation.

Bit in the rags today about Chelski part-exing Costa for Lukaku - now that I read it, it's quite likely - I imagine that no one in the prem will get him

Imagine HSV relegating this year and VDV to be our Gerrard/Pirlo next season .... Probably not able to start 50 games, but he'd definitely have an impact on and off the pitch.

Damn i'm sexually aroused right now.

Doesn't he strongly dislike Dembele?
