It's quite possible for Chelsea to lose their next 2 games (Leicester & Man U), so even if we lose to Man City all we'd need to do is beat Villa, then Chelsea at the end of February and we'd be level on points, possibly with a better goal difference.

In the short term, getting past Man U might be hard, but 4th place is still up for grabs, if we can suddenly become a good team again.

So, Daniel - SPEND SOME FUCKING MONEY.

Trying to put together a description of Bergwijn's playing style.



Generally known as a speedy winger, Bergwijn is capable of playing anywhere across the forward line. He has played up front and on both wings for PSV this season. He has even made a handful of appearances in central midfield - so versatile which is always handy.

Strong at dribbling, finishing, picking key passes and through balls to others, not great at tackling or defensive contribution - something coaches probably need to work on - or heading .

Scored 5 goals and 10 assists in 16 top flight appearances this season - but this is the Dutch top flight we are talking about. Scored 31 in 146 appearances for PSV but 2/3rds of these in last season and a half so run rate in that 18 months is 21 goals in 60 appearances.

Aged 22 so exactly the age group we seem to target - not quite hit peak years and fee reflects that. Also means he could be at Spurs for a decade.

Has 8 caps for the Netherlands

Totti Totti or others, what else ?
