Nuno, huh.

No no no no Nuno.

But if he brings Neves and Neto I might change my mind

He is a yes man, nothing is going to change, he will make do with the rubbish at the club who Levy thinks are world class

Nuno leaving Wolves would suggest he's got someone else lined up....?

I assume Kane already knew this, and didn't like it.... hence HIS midweek 'announcement' via Sky....

Nuno's Tottenham Hotsportugal it is then!

Nuno is taking time off apparently. He hasn't seen his family for well over a year.

They have already got Bruno Lage lined up, but he doesn't meet work permit criteria, so now they're looking elsewhere, Gerrard has been mentioned.

I saw a lot him while managing in Portugal. Loads of live games. Don’t rate him but respect your opinion :tanguythumb:
Yeah I can't speak to his Porto side, and it helps having the likes of Traore and Jota and Moutinho to be an eye-catching watch. But to compare his Wolves to Mourinho-ball is unfair.

The thing about Mourinho isn't even the tactics per se, so much as the obvious and almost in-your-face cynicism of the tactics. The football coach and the press conference troll merchant just meld into an oppressive cloud over everything. He's one of a kind, for better or worse.

And I don’t want Tottenham to stay a Mendes club.

He did. Consecutive 7th place finishes with a newly promoted side and a very good Europa run is doing a fantastic job whatever way you slice it.
With £100 million spent on new arrivals that season.

Like I said, he's done fine, but with the money he's spent I don't think it's all that amazing. He's a solid manager, just not the quality we should be looking at.

A. N. Other looks a good fit on the face of it....though lets be honest about it even if Pep got the job fast forward to 2 points from 8 games later and :levywhoa:we'd be calling for his head and Levy's itchy trigger finger would operate in rapid fire mode......we're cursed I tell yah, we're cursed.

I actually think Gerrard could be a great fit for them

All Premier League clubs spend money now.

Fulham, West Ham, Everton, Leicester all spent more than them in 2018. Brighton and Southampton not a huge amount behind.
The following year West Ham, Southampton, Newcastle, Leicester, Everton, Brighton and Villa spend more or close to what Wolves spent. All this isn't taking into account the 'big 6'.

Their promotion season they spent 16m on Neves, and a bunch of loans through Mendes.

He's not my pick for manager, but to say he didn't do a great job at running that team for a few years is madness imo.
