Lol but that's the thing...why is anyone accountable to you when scoring how they see the game?!

Debate is fine...but you flat out tell people their opinion isn't valid cos they scored a player lower/higher than you think they should be scored.

I am only one contributor. To take part in a data collection exercise but not know if spurious contributions are within it kind of devalues it. How do we know joker participants such as yourself are being excluded to prevent skewing. If it doesn't matter that the process is skewed....what's the point ?

Some will think player X had a good game while others will think he didn't.

Some will appreciate the contribution of player y more than someone else will.

Some lean towards attacking players being more influential than defenders so score accordingly.

Your issue is, and has always been, that everyone should watch and score the game how you see it which is obviously bollocks.

I genuinely think these ratings threads add value to this site and, to be fair, the analysis you post shows that the forum collectively scores pretty well.

It's just a shame every single one has to be spoilt by your nonsense.

A combination of 15 ratings from media/ web and a forum select shows an average for the Palace game of 6.99 for the starting 11 and without Postecoglou. Compared to 6.79 from the pure forum source.

No , it's disrespectful to everyone who gives genuine thought to their ratings.

If we win, people over rate everyone.
If we keep a clean sheet, awful defenders get rated highly even if it was a one off world class keeper display that kept them out. Things like that.
