Pape Sarr's pace, mobility & strength are great assets in our midfield.

His athleticism & desire to get into the box earned him the goal, and he made several covering tackles when we lost the ball which none of our other midfielders would have got near.

He complements the creativity of Maddison & surges of Bissouma, who are both fantastic in tight areas, almost perfectly.

I suspect the only reason he was taken off was that Ange wanted PEH's experience in the midfield, to help see out the game alongside Bissouma.

Again, I a speak a honestly, none are you a understand a you know he’s a just a played World Cup he’s a steel young, steel learning, he needs a to work hard and maybe in a 5 years a time he can be ready to a play.
