I really don't mind him getting loaned back, at his age consistent gametime would be the best for him, and he isn't going to get it in the PL.

On the one hand you look at what a loan did for Oliver Skipp at a similar age. On the other hand you look at Jack Clarke’s loan back to Leeds when he suddenly wasn’t their player anymore and they no longer had any material interest in promoting his development.

These things are tricky, there’s no one foolproof answer.

Not every kids are mature as Mbappe at 16-18 years .. , Badiashile is still doing a lot of mistakes with AS monaco .
But yeah , i hope as you he will success and be able to join the first team next season.

Well reportedly agreeing to the loan is the reason they're even willing to sell him, so I assume they're planning to play him.

Nothing to do with your post and more to do with the drain on our money that is Ndombelly.

I know or recognise much of how anyone is, is simply their DNA or personality setting but when you see such natural ability going to waste, when it could be so beneficial it's hugely disappointing.

We are delighted to announce the signing of Pape Matar Sarr from Metz.

The Senegalese international will remain on loan at Metz in Ligue 1 for the rest of the 2021/22 season.

Still just 18, Pape joined Metz from the Generation Foot Academy in Senegal in September, 2020. He made his debut against Brest in Ligue 1 in November and went on to make 25 appearances in 2020/21, 22 in Ligue 1, three in the Coupe de France, scoring four times. He’s started another three times so far this season, picking up an assist in Metz’s 1-1 draw against Stade Reims on Sunday.

A defensive midfielder, Pape already has two senior international caps to his name for Senegal, making his debut in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo in March.
