Hey, guys, just gotta say how awesome it was the other week to hear a proper game long atmosphere at the lane. I'm fed up of sitting by old fans who think that moaning the whole time and leaving 10 minutes before the end of each half is supporting the team. Also, new entitled fans that seem to think all joy comes from the match itself; it doesn't, it comes from actually supporting. I gave the J black a lone standing ovation and hope it just gets bigger.
I was thinking, what if we had a song that we could sing that had 1882 in it to make other fans aware? Or member we could hold up sheets of paper on them with #1882THFC on them, on letter on each page?
There were a few songs going around last time that might work:
"1882, 1882, 1880, 1880, 1882 Yids!"
"We'll sing for the shirt, we'll sing for the shirt, we're Tottenham Hotspur, we'll sing for the shirt"

Not a good idea IMO.
We should all focus on improving the atmosphere at The Lane by including everyone, and not just become an exclusive group with a name(like the red action at scum). If people are not aware of any name of the group, there is a much better chance of achieving this. Otherwise it will turn into an "us versus them"-mentality which won't help.
It's a shame that this is the case, but that is how most English football crowd works.
I don't disagree. In fact I just wrote an article for TFC that says exactly what you are saying, namely all fans are one.
I was just thinking that, in the short term, it may be a way to draw attention to the idea of proper support.
