if a Keeper was sent off in a shootout would an outfield player have to go in goal, or could they sub on a keeper for one of their other players?

Depends if they have any subs left. No keeper should get booked in a shootout. So easy to avoid.

I think he was the Ballon D’Or winner at the time so pretty much. He had the knees of an old lady which made his talent even more remarkable.
