I reckon we'll finish sixth

Maybe, and most would've taken that at the start. New man, some non prem proven young players coming in

Seen plenty of green shoots to stay patient and see how we progress over the next couple seasons .
Calm about it

Plus villa will get destroyed tomorrow.

One thing though, 2 weeks off now. He should really take them to a hot weather training camp, and drill the fuck out of them with maybe 3 friendlies also

100% valid to question Ange tactics today, but let’s not pretend that it’s the sole reason for this display.

That entire starting 11 just didn’t turn up for it

Conte’s rant being borne out once again.

At this point you cannot keep blaming Levy and the managers. Yes, we don’t have elite players and yes we play a high risk style, but the effort today can’t be the best the players can do. It just can’t. How could their best effort lead to a 4-0 defeat to Newcastle’s reserve team?

We simply weren’t ready to compete. Nobody was aggressive, nobody was awake, nobody was prepared to play football. They made us look like frightened children.

We have a squad full of absolute shirkers with shit mentalities who fold when the going is tough. Easy to bully.

The fact our fanbase are enthusiastic about permanently signing Timo fucking Werner because he has put a few good balls in epitomises this mentality. A few good performances against Forest and Luton and our fans think a player is awesome. Half a good season and they're a world beater.
The same is true about the fanbase getting enthuastic about a manager who has never managed in a top 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 league in his life getting the chance to manage here.

Fanbase acting surprised that he's out his depth is comedy. What else was expected?

You can count convincing performances on 1 hand this season, which is to be expected by hiring a manager of this quality, but hey, at least he says "mate" and doesn't dig out the ownership eh

The pressure has been difficult for us to handle.

In my view, in general, we hold on to the ball far too long. Too slow to move it around. That gives the opponents an opportunity to press us.

Kulu is a perfect example of this, but he is not the only one.

We need to move the ball quicker. The pressing will not work if we move the ball in one or two touches.
This this this. We are never nimble or agile in getting out of those sticky situations of being pressed, definitely not during this time of the season for many seasons already. Players lost their ability and motivation mid season somehow.

We have just been humped again. Absolutely humped. This is not a serious Football team and being 4th with games to play is not a serious metric of quality or success. This season is no different to last, it’s just rebranded.
I think you may be forgetting that we've got an electric go-kart track, aren't you?
