It's better visually from a TV point of view as you'd have all the clutter of the dugout and press box if it were on the other side, plus more empty seats when the players come out in the corporate areas like the tunnel club.

Agreed 100% And the pain of having to drink in Tottenham pubs in Tottenham, staffed by Tottenham fans..
And don't get me started on the fact we have no trampolines.
