Thought we wanted Brighton to win? I'm so lost - just want the bastard open. :eriksenserious:
So here's the breakdown:

If Brighton wins, our match on April 7th is moved to another (later) date since that is the weekend of the FA semis, which wouldn't be a big deal because Hudderfield is at NWHL the following weekend (April 13th) but;

Because we are now in the CL QF, we could be drawn with the first leg at home, which would be between the dates for the Brighton and Hudderfield games (April 9/10). And we won't open the stadium a) on a weekday and b) in a UEFA competition, so;

We either want to be drawn in the CL QF with the second leg at home (April 16/17) after the Huddersfield match, or have Millwall beat Brighton in the FA cup so that we open the stadium against Brighton on April 7th.

See - simple.

:pochrolleyes:

Check out the videoclip on Facebook on the Tottenham Hotspur’s Funnies page, champions league tune being pumped out in the new stadium. Absolutely breath taking.

Chris Cowlin has some interesting news
- name: nike stadium
- Brighton or Huddersfield first game

Bottom right YouTube also led me to the story about why the excellent Ed China was forced out of Wheeler Dealers. Now I realise why I have barely watched for the last year, as it's always some imposter tinkering with American fenders.

From today's Guardian...
"He is 10 minutes early, which bears reporting because this almost never happens with world football stars and, on the way in, he says to the deputy head teacher that he hopes the children will recognise him. If the remark is not tongue-in-cheek – and it appears not to be – then it is ludicrously self-effacing."
He's different gravy that fella

You just love him a little bit more each time

Let's name the place after him

Why not? Just treat it as a normal game. There is no need for any fanfare, opening ceremonies and all that crap. It will be a normal European night game which at some point in the near future at that time will have to be played anyway

After all this time, all this waiting, there is no need to make up reasons as to why we shouldn't move in asap. An official opening can just wait if needs be
