We could do with some back up at RWB. Squad depth innit.

We have 3 RWBs as it is.... The only way we should spend any more money on that position now is to bag ourselves a top class starter. Back-up is already completely taken care of.

The priority for me would be another top notch centre back that can fight for Dier's starting spot and be better rotation for Romero than Sanchez is.

Second would be a better RWB option but that will be dependent on whether Spence or Doc can cement themselves ahead of Emerson before then.

Don't see anything happing in the forward area unless we try to ship out Lucas which is unlikely.

What about- Juan Cuadrado on loan til the end of the season? And loan out Spence? Juve seem to be absolutely imploding right now.

So long as he (or whoever) is deemed significantly better than we already have then no probs......

Funnily enough, I recall Perisic and Cuadrado having a few bust-ups in the past. Think there was two penalty incidents from games between Juve/Bayern and Juve/Inter. They end up getting angsty every time they face each other.

Soooooo.... future bash brothers?

I say we sign whomever has 1 great game at the world cup.
on the contrary, I'd like us to sign someone who isn't going to the world cup who will be fresher through the 2nd half of the season.
So I'd be fine with Mo Salah, or that Haaland fella on a loan to buy. Bastoni if we're feeling spicy.

Read today on Teamtalk about Conte being an admirer of James Maddison. For me he could complete our midfield. That goal he scored on Saturday was pure class. A player that would give us something different and just takes our midfield up a level.

As for the wing backs, not sure who we should go for. Frustrating that Djed Spence hasn’t got a chance yet. Even if you earn £50k -£100k a week must be demoralising to never get a chance. Has to stay patient and mentally be ready when the chance comes.

Even with Liverpool’s talent at wing backs. Trent’s defending is pretty poor. Robertson is the closest you can get to an ideal wing back. Can attack , defend and like a Duracell battery up and down the wing. Sess and Emerson have improved under Conte but not there yet and Perisic has the quality and experience but is 33.

They're are stories that say Conte is not impressed but Maddison and wants a more physical presence so take your choice who you believe....
