This is 100% correct. We need players to pull us out of a hole because it’s not always going to be going well. Today is the type of day at 2-0 when you need a forward to create something out of nothing and get us back into the game. Not one of our forward players can do that when the chips are down at 2-0. These types of players that we need can turn defeats into draws and draws into wins. Until we actually go and get some game changers we stay a 4th/5th orc6th place type of club.

Richarlison is our 2nd most dispossessed player this season. Despite being a squad player for a large part of it, lol. As if he's actually getting a reputation for hold-up, first touch like a trampoline and runs in to trouble all the time.
At least Son actually creates chances for others and is a consistent finisher.

Not sure what to say to that. It's ridiculous to pin it on him and say he is no game changer. He cannot do it by himself when the team play so slowly. It rarely gets to him in any sort of position he can run into. No one creates anything for him.

He was really poor yesterday. He can’t play with his back to goal and that’s where the issue is as we will play most of our games against teams sitting deeper. Yesterday was one of those days where there was space in behind at times and he still wanted it into feet rather than constantly spin in behind either for himself or create more space for our midfielders to play in.
The flip side is he’s still scoring goals and contributing but as I’ve said many many times we need players who can play with their back to goal because we play mostly against low block teams.
Richarlison is worse at it because he can’t play in tighter areas either.
Our priority in the summer is 100% upgrade our front 3. You can argue that we need midfielders that can create but the amount of times it breaks down with our front three is incredible and so frustrating to watch.
I’m pretty sure the manager sees this but if we go into next season with Werner and Johnson as our wide players and Sonny as our centre forward then we stand still.
I’m a massive Ange fan but if that happens then he’ll deserve what’s coming because this is plain to see.
