"Just bump into the back of them...at traffic lights.

A bit of whiplash should do it.

He'll want to be with them

No chance he'll play..*

Incredible footballer but I can't think about him without a similar feeling to the Moura hat trick against Ajax...bitter sweet thoughts of what could have been.

Big difference though - Moura's hattrick was a one off. Kane's being scoring at a high rate season in season out for the last decade or so.

Its a bit like giving a thousand chimpanzees typewriters - there's a chance one of them may write the equivalent of a Shakespeare's play (= Moura's hattrick) - or give a thousand reasonably well educated humans typewriters and a number of plays and stories will be written (-= Kane's career)

It's not equivalent but the feeling is similar to me. Kane was and is incredible, but ultimately we had nothing to show for the gift of having him.

Kane was and is incredible - and that translated into large revenue streams for Spurs which ultimately is/has been ploughed into new players (so in a sense Van de Venn, Maddison et al) are his parting gift to us.

If we hadn't had Kane the current team would be weaker. There are positive ways to see Kane's legacy to us

Also the CL runs under Poch and the money was used as a deposit on the stadium. He hugely financially benefited us. Shame we could build a team good enough around him.

He'll need to go some to better Lewanwdowski's record. 7 in 3 games is a big ask. But still a phenomenal season for him all things considered. If the likes of Musiala and Sane had passed the ball to him a little more over the season he would have beaten the record probably comfortably.

I'm still of the opinion that Harry needed to move on for the sake of our football club.

It's moments like yesterday though when you're reminded of how much more he was than a sensational goalscorer - constantly heading the ball away on defensive corners, attacking ability in the air, and a brilliant wand of a pass we're so sorely missing. And lord did he turn up with some NLD bangers.

Miss him now more than ever :kanehand:
