He didn't play his best game today, but another day would've had 2 goals. Looks to be carrying a little weight still and I will say we looked slower going forward today.
We're certainly no longer playing to Kanes strengths this year the way Jose did so will be interesting to see how he adapts himself throughout the season

He is always slow to get going and this time he hasn’t even had a pre-season. Despite his rustiness he was unlucky not to get two goals plus an assist for Dele.
The international break comes at a good time for him, his fitness should be much better once he returns.

The (almost) assist for Dele was also a breakaway in transition. Was assured by many here that Kane couldn't run and take part in such attacks, but turns out they are wrong.
When searching around I found an interesting double @28/1….Chelsea to win the league and Kane the golden boot…
Classic of example of Kane slowing down our play. Ultimately ended up with a good chance created by Kane to Dele but Kane needs to do a lot better/quicker in these situations. We aren't always going to be lucky to get away with it. These types of (counter) attacking situations will be our bread and butter this season.

Compare Kane with Haaland below. Man City probably recognized the difference and thought, wow, night and day.Classic of example of Kane slowing down our play.
