Not sure why you think tripling or quadrupling your money is footballing aids. It's not like you have to suddenly move. You literally have to do nothing except play a US team once every 2-3 months and the value of the league will skyrocket. Anyways I just hope it happens because it'd be fun to see the US have a team to cheer for outside of the damn World Cup every four years. Gets pretty boring waiting for International play.

No I am a MSU Bulldog but I do have two family members that are Vols and another that is some sort of NC State/Wisconsin hybrid. Bulldogs are my only team I root for in College sports.
You have your own league. Support your own clubs, help them grow and compete. And I'll tell you why it's awful. More commercialisation, more matches at stupid kickoff times, impossible for away supporters. Who cares how much fucking money there is, we've all been getting more money for 20 years and all we've got in return is ever higher ticket prices as the competition are richer too. The supporters would be better off if the Premier League went bankrupt.
As a person who went to NC State, and lived in western NC my whole life, I'd say very few people would consider themselves "Yanks." In fact it'd be an insult, you only have to look at the state flags of Southern States to realize that. Just very strange to hear someone from this area refer to themselves that way for me...
My brother is a professor at NC State btw. Small world. I would never refer to myself as a "Yank" when talking to another American but when talking on a Tottenham message board I do. Not sure why that's confusing for you.
