The Fighting Cock

After losing our 8th semi in a row, Bardi, Ted and Flav reflect on our season, Poch's tactics, summer war chests and Windy returns with more voices. Thank you to everyone who came on Saturday. We love you deeply. Tottenham till I die.

On the discussion point of why someone would buy us for £1.5bn you are slightly missing the point - a new owner wouldn't need massive increases in value to make money, the club as a business has large income streams so has the potential to pay dividends when there are profits and offset other profits for tax when there are loses.

Helpfully the football authorities are implementing laws and regulations that effectively force the clubs to make a profit every year, there isn't really any other industry where profits are guaranteed in this way by regulatory bodies.

And if you have £1.5bn you can't just leave it in the bank, inflation is higher than the interest you would receive....
