Emanating from the pits of hell.........

The Guardian has also learned Bennell was previously involved with a junior team that had a tie-up with Chelsea and trained at Stamford Bridge once a season. Bennell was once a young prospect at Chelsea and it was there he first met Dario Gradi, the manager who employed him at Crewe, having originally been one of the coaches at Stamford Bridge.

You can take the player out of Chelseas but not the Chav out of the player?

An investigation into a charity run by ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba found "no evidence of fraud or corruption" but said it may have "misled" donors.

Didier Drogba charity may have 'misled' donors - Charity Commission
I am absolutely no fan of Drogba. However, he has donated multiple millions of pounds of his own money and raised millions for his charities. Basically without him none of the hospitals build would have been built. After a 7 month investigation The Daily Mail's story they "broke" has been found as totally and utterly baseless. He is now going to sue them and have all proceeds paid back to the charity, good.

This is the least he can do to save face....Still dodgy..

Cleared of fraud but say the public were misled. Mirror reported only £14,115 of the £1.7m donated had gone to help causes in Africa.
The Commission, which used its powers to analyse the foundation's accounts, said it was satisfied there was no foul play.
But it was critical of the fact the foundation failed to separate its activities from those of an Africa-based arm of the organisation.
That meant funds collected in the UK were not being spent on hospitals or clinics, as donors were led to believe, but were being saved in a UK current account.
"Donors will have expected their donations to have been used for charitable purposes, not accumulated in a bank account," the report read.
"Donors to the English charity may also have been misled about the activities of the charity they were supporting.

"This is because the impression was given that the English charity had financed the activities of the Ivory Coast Foundation, which is clearly not the case."

The Commission has issued the Didier Drogba Foundation with an "action plan" to make improvements.

That can be said for 80% of registered charities! 99.9% of people NEVER ask a charity how much of their pound goes to the cause, if they ask and don't like it they don't have to donate. It is a case of morality now, but no laws have been broken, none. His charity wasn't investigated for "morality" it was investigated for fraud because The Mail said it was, The Mail lied, the Mail's storey is totally wrong and baseless, what better way to deflect their baseless practices than to then run a story on a perfectly legitimate charity by running a story about the morality of the amount of money that goes to the cause.

Agree. I hate the mail also. The Mail have stipulated that at no point had it ever alleged fraud or corruption.

There is no smoke without fire. Drogba puts his name to a charity in all innocence and takes no active interest. Which allows others to take liberties.

Nothing to see hear. Instructions from the murdering Russian no doubt, it's his way. But shows they fear some sanctions. Pressure is mounting.

They should be shitting bangers by now. Sounds to me like they've been caught red handed trying to cover up serious sexual abuse by people heavily associated with the club, by paying victims off to keep quiet. Sanctions or not, I think their name is rightly going to be dragged further into the mud if this is the way they operate (buy your way out of any situation- on or off the pitch). Disgusting antics.
