Yeh I think they are fucked. Poch is broken, their squad is a mess of mostly mediocrity and they have huge FFP issues with both Boehly short term and Abramovich long term.

They always fuck up big time and always land on their feet but this time it feels very different.

The club had been running at a massive loss for 20 years.
 
Us buying Gallagher won't save them, it will only relieve the pressure for next season then they'll have to find more academy kids to sell the following summer and more the year after...the problem is that their academy was only good because Abramovich spent fortunes hoovering up all the young talent but most of them are gone now and they're not getting replaced....

The debt was written off.

But at the point of buying them they continue to make losses of £1m per week and last set of accounts had them post record losses of £121m. These losses are expected to be double, accounts due to be posted soon for confirmation
