How does that fix our squad depth and cover injuries this season?
That has nothing to do with what you wrote that I responded to, though. You criticized the manager for a substitution calling it "criminal," which is why I said "are you for fucking real?"

As I said, there are always a bunch of miserable gits that focus on any negative they can find. We could be smashing City 4-0 at the Etihad and they'll complain that we subbed in Højbjerg on the 85th minute instead of the 86th.

I mean, ffs. Nothing pleases you? How sad is that.

Great win and goals.

Thought we started slowly, lacked some intensity and got punished for it. We allowed them out too easily down their right, Porro got caught the wrong side and then made the mistake of trying to engage the player from the wrong side instead of sprinting back goalside first and stopping the cross.

The water break helped as Ange clearly had words and we were a lot more physical and hardworking, took control and were rewarded with some great goals either side of halftime.

I thought Kompany showed his inexperience at half time by changing the formation to a back 3 which gave us complete control in midfield and allowed our fbs to influence the game more too. He just needed to consolidate, stay in the game and try and pick up a second goal. He changed it back later but the game was done by then.

I like our new keeper, great with his feet, composed, competitive and a good shot stopper.

Udogie really is a good player and still so young, really has it all and his best years are to come.

Pedro is quick and technically good, some very good assists today...but he's not a natural defender and lacks composure and his decision making sometimes is poor. I worry about him against better sides.

Great goal and performance from Romero, he seems slightly more composed and disciplined. VDV is steady, very good on the ball, very quick and showed signs today he's getting to grips with the physical side. Still undecided if he's a good box defender though.

Kulu was very poor I thought, never really looked comfortable under pressure, couldn't get his crosses and shots off and has really been poor since we beat Leeds pre world cup. I was a big advocate of his but I think it was a mistake making his move permanent. I think he's part been sussed out and part lost confidence. Isn't robust on the ball, struggles under pressure, isn't quick and doesn't press or track back particularly well.

The middle 3 compliment each other well, Mads the pick today, always available, clever, direct, confident and always a threat, took his goal brilliantly.

Solomon stuck at it well, is obviously quick, made a good pass to Son for his first, got a few others wrong though and has the problem a lot of quick players do - composure, intelligence and weight of pass when moving so quickly. Pressing wasn't brilliant but he is tenacious and also young so has a lot of room to improve. A decent day.

Son took his goals really well, the first was the pick, but played well apart from the terrible touch when through early on second half. Very good game.

The opposition were clearly poor and we're still to be really tested but you can only beat what's in front of you and it's a promising start. We'll find out a lot more when we play Woolwich and liverpool in a few weeks time. There's a long way to go but if we're lucky with injuries we could have a season that's good enough to push for the top 5. Here's hoping Johnson is the real deal too.
Dont like long posts but enjoyed reading yours, very good. Thanks.

What a result.

Always said Son suited #9 in this system and it's nice to know that one start into the system as striker, I'm being proven right. Good on you Son. Last year was not just shit for you, but shit for all of us fans too. Buzzing for you mate. And if it makes Richarlison want to up his game, even better.

How fucking good was that fifth by the way? That might have been the best team goal I've seen from us in over half a decade.

Buzzing for Solomon too. First start in the league, two assists to his name. That's all you can ask for when coming in to that front three.

Man, what a team. What a performance.

Not "worrying" about anything.

Just not letting Bald Cunt off the hook.

He's left us short (AGAIN).

When we have a manager who could really take us places.

It's unforgivable.

Ange deserves to be properly backed.
Did you hear Ange's post-match interview? He said not everything will be addressed in one window. You obviously don't watch the games and don't listen to the manager. You just have a fucking anti-Levy agenda and that's the only thing you bang on about.

Suit yourself, but if the performance of our first 4 league games doesn't cheer you up, I have no idea what will.

My main beef with Conte and Mourinho is that they tried to fit the team into their styles, and didn’t build a system around the available team. They were not tactically flexible. Levy made a mistake appointing inflexible managers for a squad not to their liking.
I agree they molded te players into their system. Its the same for Ange.

Good Managers have a template and they use that in order to win. Its the same for Pep, Ancelotti, Klopp.... We Spurs supporters expect a change in that department. They don't. Ange is from the same philosophy, even with weaker players on Tuesday, he tried to play his game.

Both Jose and Conte did a Great job with what they had. I don't think Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Rodon are anywhere near good enough for top 10, yet Jose and Conte had us in the top 7. If money was spent on what they wanted, wed've won something. Its a story fro. The days of Ramos.

Ange will do well, but get us to within striking distance of a Trophy will mean sacrifices, such as the one we witnessed on Tuesday. Ange is also not flexible and he

You stupid bastard.

I was criticising LEVY for leaving us with no proper squad depth.

Which is criinal.

Plain and simple.

Get a grip, you wet, soy-leeching, non-post-understanding, fuckboy.
