If you take his history with Spurs out of it, £5mil for him is an absolute steal. If he came back and started banging in a few goals I'm sure all would be forgiven in no time at all.

I couldn't really work out why he didn't get more game time with Utd last year. The year previous he was superb.

I don't like anyone who goes on strike whilst earning tens of thousands a week working anywhere. Let alone our club.

Go raping with your dad you cunt.

I would hardly say winning two league titles and a 2-1 games to goals rate is a "flop".

Still wouldnt have him back though, the way he engineered his move will never sit well with me

All the glitter is not gold. Berba learned this the hard way. Even if he is talented, I'm sure some of the squad would not be thrilled to have him back. Also- things wouldn't be the same. He'd no longer be a fan favorite.
I have a feeling that if he joined and scored bucket loads of goals the issue about how much the fans liked him would soon change.

I am against him coming back for the same reason as many, the way he behaved. But you can't question his ability. He still has it IMO.

West Ham are interested apparently... tons of lolz!!! joke club!
I don't think so. It's a shrewd move if he goes there and scores shit loads of goals that keeps them up.

I think his attitude has put off some of the bigger clubs so I think it's a move that isn't totally out of the question if he wants first team football.

So after last year saying that "moving to any other club would be a step down" (that includes Barca and Real), you wouldnt laugh if Berba signed for West Ham and immediately got involved in a relegation dog fight?

It would be a shrewd move for the pikeys, but humiliation for Berbatov. And if thats the only move that can guarantee him first team football....even funnier.

Yeah, he was a bit of a dick about his move to Utd but we got fair wedge for him. It's not like he was a club captain that perpetually lied about his intentions, lost us £25m+ of transfer fee and then left us for our most hated rivals or anything.

His comments, not mine. I've heard so much shit like that from footballers over the years that it wouldn't really register with me. Things can change very quickly in the game. You know that.

Karma. But, frankly, I couldn't give a shit if he feels humiliation since it's not got anything to do with THFC anymore.

Anyhow, I'm not convinced that he's the sort of man who is likely to feel humiliation, such is has sense of arrogance.
