The whole sales strategy is now unravelling - problem appears to be Barcelona have spent some of the money expected from sales already.
So without the revenue, they simply have costs which are way above ffp requirements..........
La Liga are the only ones legislating against them. It’s La Liga preventing them from registering players etc. La Liga have some of the strictest financial controls in European leagues.
Barca are only surviving by the skin of their teeth by leveraging future revenues etc.
They are fucked - unless they put themselves up for sale to an oligarch.

All the above stuff with the shares in their 'media company' and them selling future rights is a fucking scam that La Liga shouldn't have entertained.

It’s not optics. It’s stricter protocols than the PL. And it’s not up to the league to prevent Barca from doing deals to sell their media rights - that’s buyer beware.

The wild card in all this is bribery. We all know international football regulatory officials have been bunged for decades.
So, if it's pure finances, they're fucked.
Whereas if they find sugardaddies who can bribe the key people, then they'll find some technicality to escape.
